Tracking Satellite Dish

I am converting a Winegard PA6002 portable satellite TV antenna into a computer controlled, variable azimuth/elevation satellite tracking antenna. This device will allow me to programatically track satellite orbits across the sky to gather data from them. I should be able to download data such as weather satellite imagery. It is only large enough for, at most high S-Band reception so, unfortunately it will not help me with VHF or UHF HAM space stations.
